Bob Biglin
Senior Partner & Executive Coach
Bob began his career as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy and went on to 30 years of managerial and leadership positions in the energy and technology industries.
Before joining AEI, Bob was the CFO of a multi-billion dollar private equity portfolio company, where he helped structure and execute a comprehensive turnaround. Prior to that, he served as the Corporate Treasurer of a Fortune 100 company. He has worked with companies that ranged in size from 25 to 60,000 employees, with locations in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. His roles have covered operations, strategy, and finance.
Bob is known for building and transforming organizations so they reach their full potential. Throughout his career, he has actively engaged with initiatives in leadership development and organizational excellence. At AEI, he combines his executive experience with formal study as a coach and organizational consultant. Bob’s extensive and diverse professional experience gives him the perspective to understand the challenges AEI’s clients are grappling with, while helping them to excel personally and professionally.
Bob holds an undergraduate degree in Marine Engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College and an MBA from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. He is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute and the Strategic Financial Leadership program at Stanford University.
Bob also holds a master's degree in Organization Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting.
Bob is on the Board of Directors and serves as the Treasurer for the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House.
